Included in this report are data about the number of pregnancies, live births, spontaneous terminations (miscarriages), and induced terminations (abortions) in NYC. The data are broken down by borough, age, race, and ethnicity.

In 2015, there were 63,250 abortions in New York City. There were 184,923 viable pregnancies and 121,673 live births. When you subtract the number of miscarriages from the total number of pregnancies, 34% of viable pregnancies ended in abortion in 2015.
