We’ve kept you up to date over the last few years on the fight against a radical abortion agenda here in New York, but today we want to turn your attention to an equally important issue we are likely to face here in New York in the coming year. We want to introduce you to a powerful advocate against assisted suicide: JJ Hanson.
JJ is a former marine, a husband, a father, and a cancer patient. He was diagnosed over a year ago with a very deadly form of brain cancer, and he decided to fight. Watch the video to hear the whole story.
The Patients Rights Action Fund, an organization founded in 2013 to fight against the legalization of assisted suicide and to advocate for the rights of patients at the end of life, produced this video. Click here to get regular updates from the Patients Rights Action Fund.
This year 21 states introduced legislation to legalize assisted suicide. All 21 attempts failed. We know we will have a fight over this issue in New York next year, and we will certainly keep you posted. In the meantime, help us get JJ and Kris’s story out far and wide.
Every day is a gift.
